Demand for World Cruises is high and there are more to choose from than ever. Cruise lines are announcing new deployments earlier and earlier to meet the demand. There is so much to consider when choosing the right itinerary and ship. Booking early will reward you with the benefits of getting your preferred location and the best value. We have put together a World Cruise Guide to help get the conversation started. But don’t do this alone. Your Travel of America Travel Advisor in your partner in World Cruise selection and planning.

Most world cruises have options to embark or disembark in different ports creating a variety of itineraries, cruise lengths and departure dates. We have listed one option for each ship so keep in mind that segments may be available. Some cruises on our list are not a true circumnavigation world cruise, but we have elected to include them when they are 90 nights or longer. Sold out sailings have been removed from this list so only cruises with available rooms are listed (as of November 2025). Let’s get started!

5/10/2026 | 114 Nights | Roundtrip Sydney | Crown Princess
Cruise Line: Princess Cruises - Premium
This Australia-based cruise will have a more international passengers aboard with a greater number of Australians. This itinerary hits all the right places at all the right times taking advantage of Summer season in the Northern Hemisphere. Originating in Sydney, the Crown Princess will route to South Africa before heading northbound to Northern Europe with visits to Scandinavia and the British Isles. 

She'll cross the Northern Atlantic  will spend a good amount of time in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Iceland and Canada. After transiting the Panama Canal, she’ll visit Peru before crossing the Pacific with stops at Eastern Island and Tahiti.

Princess Cruises balances adventure with comfort, offering extensive itineraries, enriching on-board programs, and varied dining options. There is an option to bundle gratuities, beverages and Wi-Fi into your cruise fare at about a 50% savings over paying for them separately. Crown Princess carries 3,080 guests.

1/08/2027 | 149 Nights | Los Angeles to Copenhagen | Silver Dawn
Cruise Line: Silversea – Ultra-Luxury
2027 brings Silversea’s ‘The Three Oceans” world cruise – once again aboard the gorgeous Silver Dawn. Ocean one: the Pacific. Spend time in Hawaii and French Polynesia before more island hopping enroute to Australia’s East coast, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Ocean two: the Indian Ocean. Continue to Sri Lanka, Maldives, Seychelles and South Africa. Ocean three: the Atlantic. Heading north, Silver Dawn will stop in Nambia, Angola, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Senegal, Canary Islands, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, and over to the top of Norway and down the coast, ending in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Silversea has small ships with luxury accommodations and bespoke itineraries. Guests can expect spacious all-suite lodgings with a butler, gourmet dining, and personalized service, along with unique global destinations. Cruise fares include gratuities, premium beverages and select shore excursions and the option to book Door-to-Door with airfare and transfers. Silver Dawn carries 596 guests.

Availability: Most suites are still available – but sales are strong already and the largest suites are already sold out.

1/11/2027 | 141 Nights | Miami to New York | Seven Seas Splendor
Cruise Line: Regent Seven Seas – Ultra-Luxury
Regent Seven Seas all-inclusive luxury world cruises are in high demand and the early launch of this 2027 “World of Splendor” proved very successful. This itinerary includes the Yucatan Peninsula, Caribbean Islands, Central America, Panama Canal transit, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Samoa, Fiji, Australia, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, India, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and various Mediterranean ports.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers all-inclusive world cruises with luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining, personalized service and high-end amenities. Regent is known for its inclusiveness – covering gratuities, premium beverages, unlimited shore excursions, luggage delivery service and more. Seven Seas Splendor carries 750 guests.

Availability: Suites are available in Veranda, Deluxe Veranda, Superior and Concierge categories. All Penthouse Suites and above are sold out.

Cruise Line: Holland America – Premium
Holland America’s annual Grand World Voyage is their more traditional and extremely popular world cruise itinerary including South America & Antarctica, Pacific crossing, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Egypt, the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and Atlantic crossing. Book by June 16, 2025 to receive their Early Booking Benefits – which increases in value as you book into higher categories. It’s barely worth booking below a category F since that’s where prepaid crew appreciation and an extra shipboard credit start. Well priced.

Holland America operates mid-sized ships, extensive world-wide itineraries with a focus on destination enrichment programs, local partnerships, fine dining, and onboard music venues. Volendam carries 1,432 guests.

Availability: All categories currently have inventory available. Important to book early to get a good location.
1/04/2026 | 93 Nights | Roundtrip San Diego | Zaandam
Cruise Line: Holland America – Premium
Holland America’s Grand Australia & New Zealand Voyage circles the Pacific conveniently departing from and returning to San Diego. This itinerary includes everyone’s favorite South Pacific islands, New Zealand, and Australia including the Barrier Reef. Book by June 16, 2025 to receive their Early Booking Benefits – which increase in value as you book into higher categories. The most valuable amenities start at category F. Well priced.

Holland America operates mid-sized ships, extensive world-wide itineraries with a focus on destination enrichment programs, local partnerships, fine dining, and onboard music venues. Zaandam carries 1,432 guests.

Availability: All categories are currently available. Book early for the best locations.
12/20/2025 | 197 Nights | Los Angeles to Miami | Oceania Vista
Cruise Line: Oceania Cruises – Upper Premium
It’s exciting to see that Oceania has put their new ship, Vista, on a world cruise! This extra-long itinerary covers South America, Islands in the Pacific, Australia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Iceland and Canada. There are quite a few overnight stays built in giving this itinerary a nice pace. If you don’t want to be gone over the holidays, join the ship on January 6, 2026 for a 180-night roundtrip Miami cruise (skipping the Panama Canal transit). Oceania offers World Cruise guests lots of included amenities like wine with meals, significant shore excursion credits, prepaid gratuities, Wi-Fi and more. This cruise is a good value especially considering it is a new and upscale ship with lots of inclusions.

Oeania’s world cruises cater to those who appreciate fine dining and in-depth exploration. Known for their high-quality cuisine and intimate ships, Oceania provides a balance of luxurious comfort and immersive itineraries to a variety of global destinations. Vista carries 1200 guests.

Availability: There are a few Veranda and Concierge Veranda staterooms available. Availability is slightly more open for Miami embarkation on January 6, 2026. Regardless of where you embark, this will sell out soon.
1/05/2026 | 120 Nights | Los Angeles to London | Viking Sky
Cruise Line: Viking – Upper Premium
The Viking Sky, like all Viking ships, is light and airy with a clean modern feel onboard with a sophisticated and understated elegance. This “Viking World Journeys” itinerary departs Los Angeles for Hawaii, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, New Zealand and Australia. Then Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives and the Seychelles. Circling Africa, she calls at Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar, Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Cape Verde, Canary Islands and Morocco. After stops in Spain, Portugal and France, she wraps in London. Well priced when considering the inclusions.

Viking focuses on cultural enrichment and destination immersion. They operate a uniform contemporary fleet of ships that are light and airy with clean lines and an understated elegance. No casinos and no children. Expect wine & beer with lunch and dinner to be included, a shore excursion in every port, and Wi-Fi. Gratuities are not included.

Availability: Some availability in about half the categories except suites.

1/06/2026 | 155 Nights | Miami to Barcelona | Azamara Onward
Cruise Line: Azamara Cruises – Upper Premium
Azamara’s 2026 World Cruise includes quite a few overnight stays and late nights in port – their signature destination-immersion itinerary design. This is accomplished by cutting out one ocean crossing (ending the cruise in Barcelona) and, at 156 nights, it’s still one of the longer world cruises. After a Panama Canal transit, the ship heads south to Ecuador and Peru, crosses over to Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, New Guinea, Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, India, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Italy. It’s well’priced for a small ship and solid inclusions.

Azamara’s world cruises are designed to offer immersive cultural experiences with more overnight stays and night touring. They operate the former “R ships” which are beloved classic small ships. You’ll find a traditional and elegant feeling onboard, fine dining and a high standard of service. Azamara is largely inclusive with gratuities, select beverages, some shore excursions, shuttles in port and self-service laundry. Azamara Onward carries 687 guests.

​1/06/2026 | 129 Nights | Los Angeles to Vancouver | Seabourn Sojourn
Cruise Line: Seabourn – Ultra-Luxury
This “Ring of Fire: Hidden Gems” itinerary circles the Pacific with only 450 pampered guests. From Los Angeles to Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia’s West coast, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Alaska with disembarkation in Vancouver, B.C.

Seabourn operates ultra-luxury small ships with yacht-like atmosphere. All-inclusive – premium beverages, fine dining, gratuities, shore excursions, Wi-Fi, and more. Seabourn’s ships sail around the globe calling on unique “hidden” places along with traditional marquee cities. Seabourn is prefect for the very well-traveled, looking for immersive experiences and unique opportunities. They also have two expedition ships enabling more adventure-oriented types to experience rare and wild places up close. Seabourn Sojourn carries 458 guests.

1/10/2026 | 154 Nights | Roundtrip Miami | Seven Seas Mariner
Cruise Line: Regent Seven Seas – Ultra-Luxury
Regent Seven Seas “The Sense of Adventure” world cruise is true all-inclusive luxury. The extra-long itinerary starts with a Panama Canal transit, and continues with Central America, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, South Africa, Namibia, Africa’s east coast, and Portugal.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers all-inclusive world cruises with luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining, and personalized service. Extensive itineraries span numerous global destinations, emphasizing detailed experiences and high-end amenities. Regent is known for its inclusiveness – covering gratuities, premium beverages and unlimited shore excursions. Seven Seas Mariner carries 700 guests.

Availability: A few Concierge Veranda Suites and Deluxe Veranda Suites are available. This will sell out soon.

Cruise Line: Cunard – Upper Premium
The Cunard tradition continues with the grand and luxurious Queen Anne circling the globe. It’s pretty special that Cunard will have two Queens departing Southampton for World Cruises on the same day: Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2. Queen Anne will sail to the Mediterranean, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, South Africa, Namibia, Senegal, Spain and Portugal. Cunard Line: Cunard's world cruises are characterized by traditional maritime elegance and sophisticated service. The itineraries are designed to cover a wide array of global destinations, with a focus on providing a classic luxury cruising experience – including more formal attire and white-glover service. The ships are grand and include more public spaces to spend time in. The cruise fare will include impeccable service, luxury accommodations, fine dining, white-glove afternoon tea, lectures, etc., but will not include extras like wine and spirits, excursions, Wi-Fi, etc. Cunard is including gratuities as a special World Cruise offer when you book by January 6, 2025. Queen Anne carries 2,996 guests.

Availability: Most categories have some inventory.

1/11/2026 | 135 Nights | Los Angeles to Rome | Crystal Serenity
Cruise Line: Crystal – Ultra-Luxury
The beloved Crystal Serenity will once again grace the World Cruise waters continuing the luxury brands traditions. From Los Angeles, Crystal Serenity sails across the Pacific with Island stops enroute to Australia & New Zealand. From there she covers much of Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East before traveling through the Red Sea to the Mediterranean – ending in Rome. The ship is light, airy, and spacious with sophistication and exceptional service. Most everything onboard is included – plus a $3000 shipboard credit per couple. Shore excursions are not included (but a good way to spend that shipboard credit). Their current promotion includes a pay-in-full savings for a limited time.

Crystal Cruises provides world cruises known for their luxury, service, and entertainment. The cruises include diverse destinations, on-board activities, and high-quality dining options, which together create a comprehensive and upscale cruising experience. Crystal includes gratuities, premium beverages. They may include some select shore excursions, but most are not included in the cruise fare. Crystal Serenity carries 740 guests.

1/21/2026 | 115 Nights | Roundtrip Los Angeles | Coral Princess
Cruise Line: Princess Cruises – Premium
The Coral Princess 2026 World Cruise itinerary has just been changed to Circle Pacific, still roundtrip from Los Angeles. It is a beautiful new itinerary with 60 – more than Princess has ever had on one cruise. Destinations include Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia & New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Japan and Alaska. October 28, 2024 was the official launch of the new itinerary.

Princess Cruises offer a balance of adventure with comfort, extensive itineraries, enriching on-board programs, and varied dining options. A special early booking offer is currently available which includes gratuities, premium beverages, specialty dining, Wi-Fi and shipboard credit. Book by December 31, 2024. Shore excursions are not included. Coral Princess carries 1,970 guests.

Availability: Guests who are already booked on the World Cruise itinerary will have first option to rebook into the new Circle Pacific itinerary. There will still be availability for new reservations once they’ve berthed existing guests, but with the early booking offer and new itinerary, this is expected to sell very well.

2/03/2026 | 93 Nights | Los Angeles to New York | Queen Mary 2
Cruise Line: Cunard – Upper Premium
The Queen Mary 2 was built for long cruises making her a true ocean liner and the perfect ship for a World Cruise. From Los Angeles, QM2 will call on San Francisco, Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Egypt, Greece, Spain, and France before crossing the Atlantic to New York.

Cunard's world cruises are traditional and sophisticated maritime experiences providing classic luxury – including more formal attire and white-glover service. The ships are grand and include more public spaces to spend time in. The cruise fare will include impeccable service, luxury accommodations, fine dining, white-glove afternoon tea and interesting lectures, etc. Cunard is including gratuities as a special World Cruise offer when you reserve your cruise by January 30, 2025. Queen Mary 2 carries 2,691 guests.

Availability: There are a few balcony and inside staterooms still available.
